“She often climbed up the hill and lay there alone for the mere pleasure of feeling the wind and of rubbing her cheeks in the grass. Generally at such times she did not think of anything, but lay immersed in an inarticulate well-being.” - Edith Wharton

Painting is my way of slowing down and noticing the things that stand out to me: the people, objects, and moments that make me smile or what challenges my thinking. It’s like a visual gratitude journal, a chance to share the moments that keep me “immersed in an inarticulate well-being”. I paint what I love, what I find cool, or anything that makes me pause for a second and appreciate the little things we often overlook.

I hope you enjoy my work and it reminds you to take a second to appreciate and maybe even romanticize your world.
